In that, veteran actor Paul Birch is the perfect fit, especially given his crisp monotone narration, making EARTH his own story... with help from young loser Jonathan Haze as his driver/housekeeper, and the lead ingenue who not only winds up being this film's final girl, but has enough intriguing stuff to do leading up...

Thinking man's beauty Beverly Garland's the nurse for an intellectual/partially hypnotized doctor, given the task of drawing blood and helping keep watch of the alien: who does all his dirty work behind her and her cop boyfriend's back: as the best scenes occur during the sporadic killings ranging from a cute first girl (Gail Ganley), Corman regular Dick Miller as a doomed beatnik vacuum salesman, and three vulnerable bums...
Getting their blood sucked and bodies incinerated while Garland investigates, adding a kind of noirish mystery/thriller vibe to what's a low-budget exploitation that ultimately lacks very little in the process.
