In the final act of Amando de Ossorio's Blind Dead Trilogy's fourth and final feature NIGHT OF THE SEAGULLS, there's an obvious nod to George A. Romero's NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD as the three survivors are holed up in a rural cabin, desperately bolting the doors from ominous invaders outside... who are slowly creeping inside for what seems the inevitably violent massacre...
And these aren't just zombies that became lethal after death... the ancient Templar Knights were the Samurai Warriors of the Middle Ages/Crusades, and in order for the peasant-dwelling village to remain protected, a string of beautiful women are sacrificed (including gorgeous native Sandra Mozarowsky), leaving Spanish scream queens María Kosty and Sandra Mozarowsky as our two final-girls...

Kosty's the blonde, wide-eyed, full-lipped, faithful wife of standard-handsome doctor Victor Petit, who moved to the visually post-apocalyptic, craggy-side mountain locale to open a small medical practice... while mousy-cute brunette Mozarowsky's their first assistant, and the first would-be sacrificial victim worth saving...
And as the titular seagulls sustain their eerie squawking outside the cabin, only the audience experiences the random female beach-side sacrifices by the cloaked sinewy-skeletons... while the inevitable threesome anticipate that thrilling/suspenseful Romero-like conclusion — in what's the sparsest yet ultimately most satisfying of Ossorio's legendary Blind Dead franchise, getting right to the point and sicking firmly to it.
