Here's a score of Chuck Norris movies from the late seventies all through his kicking-ass eighties reign. These summary-size, one or two paragraph-long reviews are a decade in the making as...

Chuck Norris took Karate films to an entertainingly mindless and guttural, testosterone-driven level, and having appeared in RETURN OF THE DRAGON opposite/verses Bruce Lee, who knows where Chuck's career might have gone had the Chinese Kung Fu Master lived past ENTER THE DRAGON, but like comparing Edgar Rice Burrough's more realistic, cerebral and literary Tarzan to the spontaneous and fun theatrical Johnny Weissmuller adaptations, it's not as if Chuck took Lee's place. Instead, there was a phantom zone that desperately needed filling: Norris successfully delivered and, unlike most, maintained his American Brand of Karate to the large and small screen for nearly three decades...
<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: small;">Donna Gordon stood out in THE KILLING OF A CHINESE BOOKIE. Of all the dancers at Ben Gazzara's nightclub, she was the toughest, and most blunt, honest. That was Donna in real life too. She was one of my closest friends, especially a few years back, and even took my cat, Buzz, into her care: he had a great life. And I really miss her. And here's to her life, and recent death on July 1st, 2017, this BOOKIE writeup has been reposted...
Another
action-packed suspense flick where Chuck Norris plays a cop after a relentless
seemingly unbeatable monster of a man, but unlike SILENT RAGE this one
really works. Jack O'Halloran lurks somewhere within the newly restored
Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles and is killing women by sneaking through a
grate in the restroom and lurking in the city shadows. Known as the Terror, he had just escaped from a
mental asylum where Chuck's character, the Hero, had put him a year
before. Norris is haunted by nightmares of the formidable menace and now
must find him somewhere within the mazy complicated structure of the
historic L.A. venue. Intense action and body count horror are meshed perfectly with a little romance that never gets too corny.
This is one of the better latter eighties Chuck Norris vehicles.

Right from the start, Mark L. Lester knew how to direct vapid movies with the precision of a genius maverick. Or something.

The often confusing, maze-like plot has a band of truck stop women i.e. waitress/whores running their own trucking company, fighting against the corporate-backed mob (or is it a mob-backed corporation?) who wants to take over their lucrative operation.

While seemingly a Claudia Jennings exploitation film, this really stars Lieux Dressler as the head of the trucker-loving hookers, who doesn't trust her sexy, jealous daughter, Claudia, running around with gangster John Martino ("Paulie" from THE GODFATHER).

After suffering past the first half, so tailor-made for a drive-in audience one forgets to actually pay attention, you'll be drawn in as the good girls vs. bad guys battle ensues: including machine guns, road chases and lots of great explosions.
