But when he's the surgically-altered clone of himself, who murders his lovely Asian secretary, he has hardly any dialogue or expression... staring forward with a vacantly gaunt expression, resembling Peter Sellers if he were deadpan without the humor... not even relying on his own Doctor Watson in sidekick Petrie (who narrates the Sax Rohmer source novels) played by an affable Howard Marion-Crawford...

One of three regular cast members appearing in all five movies including an always sinister-yet-subdued Lee and his formidable Asian daughter Tsai Chin, hypnotizing a doctor to perform the face-altering surgery while also kidnapping his classy daughter: yet lovely ingenue Suzanne Roquette really only stands around within Fu's hidden fortress...
Eclipsed by the vulnerable blonde moll of German scoundrel Horst Frank (seeming the chief villain in his own story)... as scene-stealing Maria Rohm guides the audience through smoky taverns, cutthroat backrooms and rural exotic exteriors as VENGEANCE OF FU MANCHU is said to be the last of the decently budgeted Fu Manchu franchise.
