By the time 1950's television turned 1970's low-budget exploitation director Arthur Marks' BONNIE'S KIDS is a little over halfway through, the anticipated plot-line... of Tiffany Bolling's confident Ellie and hunky private-eye Steve Sandor snagging the token bag of cash from black-and-white assassin pair Alex Rocco and Timothy Brown... has just begun...

The problem is that Elle's little sister Myra, played by teenage full-faced blonde beauty Robin Mattson, is stuck at their uncle's home where his trophy wife's attempting a long-game lesbian seduction... and Robin's really the central character being the most vulnerable, protected by the long tall tough older sis...

Who'd already shot and killed their molesting stepfather Leo Gordon before burning the house down, taking little sister to another edgy veteran actor in Scott Brady, their model-agency fronted gangster uncle, who had hired those lethal multiracial goons to pick up the loot that eventually puts handgun wielding Tiffany Bolling in jeopardy, stranded in more of a nowhere town than where young/bored Robin Mattson is basically abandoned...

Making BONNIE'S KIDS a rural exploitation tour-de-force with pretty much everything, ranging from steamy sex to crime-genre violence: yet that pair of stunning titular siblings deserved a more fleshed-out vehicle, where they're equally paired together without all the exploitation-cinema distractions: which are all still pretty worthwhile.
