Such a huge...A sad day when I saw that he had died. Such a huge part of my childhood was Ray Harryhausen and the movies he worked on. My uncle loved his movies and turned me on to him, taking me to movie theaters in the mid 70's that would play multiple Harryhausen movies - many a double and triple feature I attended. <br /><br />A triple feature...those were the days - spending an afternoon drinking cokes and overdosing on candy and popcorn in an anceint movie palace of old that had gone to seed but still awesome in its seediness. I miss those old magical places. Way better than the current sanitized sameness we have at every new movie complex.<br /><br />Anyway RIP Mr. Harryhausen.
